Dieses Mal war ich nicht mit meiner Familie unterwegs, sondern mit meinem Freund Sakis, der bei uns im Dorf Panormo wohnt und inzwischen ein sehr guter Freund geworden ist.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sakis lie\u00df sich \u00fcberreden mit mir wandern zu gehen:). Und das Sch\u00f6ne an dieser Tour: Sie lag fast direkt vor unserer Haust\u00fcr. Von Suite Leon in Panormo aus waren es nur knapp 25 Kilometer Richtung Rethymno. F\u00fcr kretische Verh\u00e4ltnisse ist das also wirklich ein Ausflug, den man ganz entspannt am Vormittag machen kann.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Kein gro\u00dfer Plan, kein langer Wandertag, keine komplizierte Organisation. Die Myli Schlucht liegt in der N\u00e4he von Rethymno und ist deutlich kleiner und einfacher zu erreichen als die gro\u00dfen bekannten Schluchten Kretas. Genau das macht sie aber besonders charmant.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Schlucht ist eher eine Wanderung f\u00fcr Menschen, die Kreta abseits der Str\u00e4nde erleben m\u00f6chten: gr\u00fcn, ruhig, schattig, mit Wasser, alten Mauern und kleinen \u00dcberraschungen am Wegesrand!!<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wir kamen von der Talseite in die Schlucht. Eigentlich empfohlen von der oberen Bergseite zu starten und abw\u00e4rts zu gehen, haben wir uns nicht dran gehalten;).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div viel Gr\u00fcn<\/h1><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Zu Beginn gingen wir durch einen sch\u00f6nen, schattigen Bereich mit viel Gr\u00fcn. Das war im September besonders angenehm, denn auch wenn die gro\u00dfen Sommerhitze-Tage langsam vorbei sind, kann es auf Kreta immer noch warm sein.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Der Weg f\u00fchrte uns durch den Wald &amp; vorbei an einem kleinen Bach und immer tiefer hinein in diese besondere Atmosph\u00e4re der Schlucht. Die Myli-Schlucht wirkt ganz anders als die Samaria- oder Imbros-Schlucht. Sie ist nicht so gewaltig, nicht so ganz dramatisch und auch nicht so karg, hier ist was los! Sie ist viel gr\u00fcner, kleiner, stiller und irgendwie &#8222;verwunschener&#8220;.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Man h\u00f6rt Wasser, sieht alte Mauern zwischen den Pflanzen, l\u00e4uft \u00fcber schmale Wege und hat immer wieder das Gef\u00fchl, dass hier fr\u00fcher einmal richtig Leben war.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8679a7f elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"8679a7f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-953bcc6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"953bcc6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Das Tal der M\u00fchlen<\/h1><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Der Name Myli bedeutet \u201eM\u00fchlen\u201c, und genau darum geht es in dieser Schlucht. Fr\u00fcher standen hier zahlreiche Wasserm\u00fchlen die durch das Wasser des Baches betrieben wurden. Heute sieht man noch viele \u00dcberreste dieser alten M\u00fchlen, Mauern, Kan\u00e4le und Geb\u00e4ude. Einige Stellen wurden restauriert, andere sind halb von der Natur zur\u00fcckerobert worden.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Das macht die Wanderung sehr abwechslungsreich. Man l\u00e4uft nicht einfach nur durch eine Schlucht, sondern durch ein St\u00fcck kretischer Geschichte! \u00dcberall entdeckt man kleine Details: alte Steine, Wasserl\u00e4ufe, verlassene Geb\u00e4ude, verwachsene Wege und immer wieder sch\u00f6ne Fotomotive die wir beide genutzt haben.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Myli Schlucht ist keine Schlucht, die einen mit ihrer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe erschl\u00e4gt. Sie \u00fcberzeugt eher leise&#8230; mit Atmosph\u00e4re, Schatten, Wasser und dem Gef\u00fchl, durch ein vergessenes Tal zu gehen.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div und eine Pause mitten im Gr\u00fcnen<\/h1><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nat\u00fcrlich w\u00e4re es kein richtiger Ausflug auf Kreta, wenn uns nicht auch Katzen begegnet w\u00e4ren. In der Myli-Schlucht haben wir gleich mehrere getroffen, darunter eine besonders sch\u00f6ne schwarze Katze, die uns sogar zweimal \u00fcber den Weg lief. Solche kleinen Begegnungen geh\u00f6ren f\u00fcr mich auf Kreta einfach dazu und machen eine Wanderung noch pers\u00f6nlicher.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gegen Ende unserer Tour, zumindest wenn man von der Talseite startet, erreichten wir eine kleine Taverne mitten im Gr\u00fcnen. Sie liegt direkt an der Strecke und ist wunderbar in die Natur eingebettet. Besonders charmant fanden wir, dass das Essen \u00fcber eine Seilwinde von der Stra\u00dfe hinuntertransportiert wird. Die Auswahl war nicht riesig, aber v\u00f6llig ausreichend: ein paar einfache Gerichte, eine Erfrischung, ein Bier, vielleicht ein Raki, etwas Schatten und das gute Gef\u00fchl, gerade einen richtig sch\u00f6nen Vormittag auf Kreta erlebt zu haben.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bc4a8be elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bc4a8be\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Unterwegs mit Sakis<\/h1><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besonders sch\u00f6n war f\u00fcr mich diese Wanderung mit Sakis zu machen. Wir kennen uns mittlerweile seit Januar 2022 aus Panormo und \u00fcber die Zeit ist daraus eine echte Freundschaft geworden und die Zeit mit ihm ist einfach immer angenehm.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wir haben inzwischen schon einiges zusammen erlebt: gemeinsame Arbeiten am Haus, Abende in Tavernen, Gespr\u00e4che in Panormo oder auch N\u00e4chte in Rethymno, die erst in den fr\u00fchen Morgenstunden endeten. Genau solche Menschen machen Kreta f\u00fcr mich besonders.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">W\u00e4hrend der Tour haben wir uns wunderbar unterhalten, sind ohne Eile gelaufen und haben immer wieder angehalten. Eine einfache Wanderung wird pl\u00f6tzlich zu einer Erinnerung, wenn man gute Gespr\u00e4che f\u00fchrt, lacht, stehen bleibt und den Moment nicht hetzt. Sie ist eher ein kleines Natur- und Geschichtserlebnis in der N\u00e4he von Rethymno. Genau das macht sie so empfehlenswert.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">F\u00fcr G\u00e4ste von Suite Leon in Panormo ist sie ein idealer Halbtagesausflug. Man f\u00e4hrt nicht weit, ist schnell in einer v\u00f6llig anderen Landschaft und erlebt Kreta von einer ruhigen, gr\u00fcnen und sehr urspr\u00fcnglichen Seite.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wer alte Wasserm\u00fchlen, kleine Wege, schattige Natur, Katzen und eine Taverne mitten im Gr\u00fcnen mag, wird die Myli Schlucht sehr wahrscheinlich lieben.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Unser Tipp: Nicht hetzen. Die Strecke ist nicht lang, aber sie lebt von den kleinen Momenten. Stehen bleiben, schauen, Fotos machen, Wasser h\u00f6ren, die alten M\u00fchlen entdecken und am Ende in der Taverne einkehren.
