Dieses Mal waren wir nur zu dritt unterwegs: meine Frau Sabrina, unser Sohn Leon und ich. Von unserem kleinen Ferienhaus Suite Leon in Panormo aus sind wir fr\u00fch am Morgen Richtung Westen gestartet.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Schon die Anfahrt war ein Teil des Erlebnisses. Von Panormo aus fuhren wir zun\u00e4chst entlang der gro\u00dfen Hauptstra\u00dfe Richtung Westen. Nach einiger Zeit bogen wir links Richtung S\u00fcden ab, hinein in die kretische Berglandschaft. Die Stra\u00dfe wurde ruhiger &amp; Landschaft urspr\u00fcnglicher, nicht verbaut &#8211; und irgendwann legten wir in einer kleinen, h\u00fcbschen Cafeteria noch eine kurze Pause ein (Fredo Cappuccino;)). Damit ist die Schlucht gut als Tagesausflug machbar ohne dass man extrem fr\u00fch aufbrechen oder eine \u00dcbernachtung einplanen muss.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Unser Ziel war das kleine Bergdorf Imbros! Dort sahen wir direkt bei Ankunft das Eingangsschild zur Schlucht, parkten unser Auto und kauften die Tickets. Der Eintritt kostete bei unserem Besuch 4 Euro pro Person. Danach ging es ohne gro\u00dfe Vorbereitung direkt los in die Schlucht.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Der erste Teil der Wanderung f\u00fchrte uns \u00fcber schmale, steinige Wege durch eine wundersch\u00f6ne Naturlandschaft. Das Wetter war herrlich, f\u00fcr April aber schon erstaunlich warm. Trotzdem war es sehr angenehm, weil die Schlucht immer wieder Schatten bietet und die Strecke nicht so extrem fordernd ist wie zum Beispiel die Wanderung<\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Der erste Teil der Wanderung f\u00fchrte uns \u00fcber schmale, steinige Wege durch eine wundersch\u00f6ne Naturlandschaft. Das Wetter war super &amp; f\u00fcr April aber schon erstaunlich warm. Trotzdem war es sehr angenehm, weil die Schlucht immer wieder Schatten bietet und die Strecke nicht so extrem fordernd ist wie zum Beispiel die Samaria-Schlucht die wir 2x gegangen sind.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Imbros-Schlucht ist ungef\u00e4hr acht Kilometer lang und gilt als eine der leichteren Schluchtwanderungen auf Kreta. F\u00fcr meinen Sohn Leon sie genau richtig: Lang genug um wirklich das Gef\u00fchl einer richtigen Wanderung zu haben, aber nicht so anstrengend, dass sie f\u00fcr Ihn zur Belastung wird. Leon hatte jedenfalls viel Spa\u00df, und wir machten unterwegs immer wieder kleine Pausen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Schlucht ver\u00e4ndert sich st\u00e4ndig: mal ist sie weiter und offener, dann wieder enger, steiniger und <strong>dramatischer.<\/strong> Genau das macht diese Wanderung so abwechslungsreich.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8679a7f elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"8679a7f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-953bcc6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"953bcc6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Das \u201eIron Gate\u201c!<\/h1>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ein besonderes Highlight war f\u00fcr uns das sogenannte \u201eIron Gate\u201c, also das \u201eEiserne Tor\u201c. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An dieser Stelle r\u00fccken die Felsw\u00e4nde der Schlucht ganz nah zusammen und steigen links und rechts steil nach oben.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">F\u00fcr Leon war das\u00a0 der spannendste Moment der Wanderung. Er konnte sich dort so zwischen die Schluchtw\u00e4nde stellen und strecken &#8211;\u00a0 dass er mit den F\u00fc\u00dfen und H\u00e4nden beide Seiten ber\u00fchren konnte. Solche kleinen Sachen bleiben und oft viel st\u00e4rker in Erinnerung als die gro\u00dfen Sehensw\u00fcrdigkeiten&#8230;. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">F\u00fcr uns war es einer dieser sehr sch\u00f6nen Familienmomente: Natur, gutes Wetter, keine Hektik und ein Sohn der sichtbar Spa\u00df an der Wanderung hatte:)<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c690508 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c690508\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>Coole Alternative zur Samaria Schlucht<\/h1>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Die Imbros-Schlucht wird als kleine Schwester der Samaria Schlucht bezeichnet. Das passt ganz gut. Sie ist k\u00fcrzer, einfacher zu organisieren und weniger anstrengend. Wer also auf Kreta eine sch\u00f6ne Schluchtwanderung machen m\u00f6chte aber nicht gleich einen sehr langen und k\u00f6rperlich fordernden Tag in der Samaria Schlucht einplanen will findet hier eine sehr gute Alternative.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Gerade f\u00fcr Familien ist die Imbros-Schlucht aus unserer Sicht sehr empfehlenswert. Man braucht trotzdem (!) feste Schuhe, ausreichend Wasser und etwas Trittsicherheit -dann ist die Wanderung ist gut machbar. Im April war es bei uns bereits recht warm, deshalb w\u00fcrden wir auch hier empfehlen m\u00f6glichst am Vormittag zu starten, nicht in der prallen Mittagssonne!<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5a84be7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5a84be7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h1>R\u00fcckkehr und Essen in der Taverne<\/h1>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Wir waren bis zum Nachmittag unterwegs. Danach kamen wir wieder zur\u00fcck zu unserem Ausgangspunkt, der gleichzeitig auch der Eingang der Schlucht war. Dort kehrten wir in einer netten Taverne ein (Direkt am Eingang der Schlucht) und a\u00dfen etwas. Nach der Wanderung, der frischen Luft und den vielen Eindr\u00fccken schmeckt so ein Essen auf Kreta nat\u00fcrlich immer besonders gut!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nervig war an diesem Ausflug eigentlich nichts.
