Es war ein Tag voller Ehrfurcht vor der Natur, &#8222;entspannter&#8220; Waden und der puren Erleichterung, als wir das Meer erreichten. Wir haben den Morgen ganz entspannt angehen lassen, und dadurch sind wir sp\u00e4ter als gedacht Richtung Omalos-Plateau aufgebrochen.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"1201\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\">Leider konnten meine Frau Sabrina und mein Sohn Leon wegen einer kleinen Erkrankung nicht dabei sein, und auch meine Schwester musste wegen ihrer kleinen Tochter passen. Also sind am Ende nur wir drei los: Mein \u00e4lterer Bruder, die Tochter meines Bruders und ich. Wir sind gegen 13 Uhr am Eingang Xyloskalo gestartet \u2013 ein sehr sp\u00e4ter Start f\u00fcr eine der l\u00e4ngsten Schluchten Europas!\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h2 data-start=\"796\" data-end=\"1201\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">4,5 Stunden durch eine sagenumwobene Landschaft<\/span><\/strong><\/h2><p data-path-to-node=\"9\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 18px;\">Der Abstieg \u00fcber die ber\u00fchmten Steintreppen war erst der Anfang einer viereinhalb-st\u00fcndigen Wanderung durch eine Welt aus Fels und Wasser.<\/span><\/p><ul><li><p data-path-to-node=\"2,0,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Der Abstieg:<\/b> \u00dcber unz\u00e4hlige Serpentinen ging es steil hinunter ins Herz der Samaria Schlucht. Man wandert hier durch W\u00e4lder aus uralten Zypressen, w\u00e4hrend die <b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"155\">Gipfel des Massivs mit \u00fcber 600 Metern H\u00f6he<\/b> majest\u00e4tisch \u00fcber einem thronen. Jeder Tritt auf den Holz-, oder Steinstufen bietet neue, spektakul\u00e4re Ausblicke in die Tiefe.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Wasserwege:<\/b> Nach den steilen Passagen wanderten wir an kristallklaren Bachl\u00e4ufen vorbei, die selbst im Sommer eine herrliche Frische ausstrahlen. Der Weg f\u00fchrte uns durch gr\u00fcne T\u00e4ler und \u00fcber kleine Holzbr\u00fccken, w\u00e4hrend der Duft von Pinien in der Luft lag und die massiven Felsw\u00e4nde immer h\u00f6her aufragten.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"2,2,0\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\"><b data-path-to-node=\"2,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Natur pur:<\/b> Mein Patenkind war fasziniert von der wilden Kulisse und den seltenen Kri-Kri-Ziegen an den H\u00e4ngen. Der Druck im Nacken wuchs mit jedem Meter, denn uns war klar: Die einzige F\u00e4hre in <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"338\">Agia Roumeli<\/b> verl\u00e4sst den Hafen p\u00fcnktlich um <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"383\">17:30 Uhr<\/b>. In diesem abgeschiedenen Ort im S\u00fcden Kretas gibt es keine Alternative \u2013 wer die F\u00e4hre verpasst hat Pech gehabt oder muss ein Hotelzimmer nehmen.<\/span><\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\">Die letzten zwei Kilometer stellten uns daher auf eine echte Probe. Um sicherzugehen, dass wir noch rechtzeitig unsere Tickets am Schalter kaufen konnten, sind wir das letzte St\u00fcck bis zum Meer fast gelaufen, ich mit der Tochter meines Bruders immer Kopf-an-Kopf:). Es war ein Kampf gegen die Zeit, doch wir haben es geschafft: Um kurz vor halb sechs erreichten wir v\u00f6llig au\u00dfer Atem, aber gl\u00fccklich, das Ziel. Wir g\u00f6nnten uns eine kleine Erfrischung auf der F\u00e4hre und genossen den Blick auf die K\u00fcste, w\u00e4hrend uns das Schiff nach <b data-path-to-node=\"15\" data-index-in-node=\"158\">Sougia<\/b> brachte. Von dort aus schloss sich der Kreis: Mit dem Bus ging es die Serpentinen wieder hinauf zum Parkplatz in Omalos, wo unser Auto wartete.<\/span><\/p><p data-path-to-node=\"16\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px; color: #000000;\">Der Tag endete mit einer zweist\u00fcndigen R\u00fcckfahrt nach <b data-path-to-node=\"16\" data-index-in-node=\"54\">Panormos<\/b>. Wir waren m\u00fcde, die Beine waren schwer, aber wir waren erf\u00fcllt von diesem unglaublichen Erlebnis.
